ZEN's Solarize Ag Program

How the Solarize Ag Program Works

Our Solarize Ag program prioritizes you, the farmer, bringing your community together to help lower solar costs and provide group purchasing power specifically in your area.

Step 2: Project Development & Grant Writing

ZEN's solar contractor might visit your property in person or digitally to determine what project works best for your specific needs. ZEN will complete your grant application for the USDA REAP program. If awarded, this grant will likely cover 25% of the project cost and can be combined with the 30% Federal Tax Credit and Accelerated Depreciation.

Step 3: Installation

Ameri-West, ZEN's solar contractor, will manage all aspects of your project – from procurement to installation – allowing you to focus on your farming business. ZEN will support for all grant related aspects.

Step 1: Enroll

We'll gather your information and learn more about your business energy usage.

Step 3: Power's On!

Typically two months after solar turns on, ZEN will work to get your USDA grant paid if awarded. Then, sit back, relax and experience the benefits of solar energy on your farm.
